moll was founded in 1925 by the Moll family as a carpentry shop in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

We are a leading international manufacturer of children’s desks and children’s chairs that grow with the child, as well as desks and swivel chairs for private office and organizational furniture. moll’s typical quality meets all standards for ergonomics, durability and customization — and everything is developed and manufactured right in Germany. 1925	Andreas Moll, the grandfather of Martin Moll founds a cabinetmaker’s shop in Gruibingen.
1948	Office furniture are produced in small series for regional dealers.
1956	Hellmuth and Kurt Moll take over management of the company.
1960	The first rotary rack is introduced to the market.
1972	Destruction of the production halls due to fire.
1974	Market launch of the world’s first height-adjustable children’s and youth desk “moll – Arbeitsfreude”.
1982	Market launch of “Clou”, a height-adjustable solid wood secretarial desk.
1985	Market launch of “Vertikolift”, as one of the first sitting and standing tables for adults – height adjustment via gas spring and toothed rails or by means of an electric motor.
1988	Rotafile “as a complete range of rotary rack variants.
1989	Market launch of “Mobilight”, the self-developed light for the special needs of the children’s desk.
1990	With the “Young Office System”, a complete furniture system for the children’s learning area with a coordinated design and function is presented for the first time.
1991	moll delivers to 25 countries with an export share of 30%.
1992	Development of the first gridless height adjustment with crank handle for children’s desks.
1995	Market launch of the children’s desk system “Genius”, solid beech wood with stainless steel fittings.
