Öko-Test rates the moll Maximo 15 (grey/red) at the top
In the current issue of Öko-Test (10/2015), the moll Maximo 15 (grey/red) received the maximum rating of “very good”. Of the 10 desk chairs for children and teens that were tested, only one other chair received top ratings. In the overall assessment, three products rated “unacceptable”. In its October issue, Öko-Test advised purchasing premium products, because they offer better ergonomic properties and materials than cheaper wares, thereby offering children and teens a healthy place to work. Moreover, thanks to its height-adjustability, the moll Maximo 15 (grey/red) is suitable from childhood all the way to the teen years.

In the Ergonomics category, of the ten chairs tested, only two got a top score. The moll Maximo 15 (grey/red) also scored at the top in Safety, while three competing chairs scored “poor” and three scored “unacceptable”. The moll Maximo 15 (grey/red) is the only chair in the practical test that swept all categories with the top grade of “very good”. The moll Maximo 15 passed the tilt test, while five of the tested chairs tilted either forward or backward during this test. The chair’s design was judged as very simple.
